Note: you must enroll through the MS Center. The MS Center will give Wellway the list of participants. After the initial enrollment you will not need to sign up each week.

The Multiple Sclerosis Center of Southwest Florida (MS Center) will launch an Aquatics Aerobic class for MS at the Wellway Center in Cape Coral. “Wellway has one of the few indoor pools in Southwest Florida and we are very fortunate to partner with them to bring this valuable program to our clients.” said CEO, Kay Jasso of the MS Center. The program was once sponsored by the MS Society but was discontinued several years ago.

According to the Multiple Sclerosis Association of America (MSAA), “Research on individuals with multiple sclerosis suggests that aquatic exercise is effective for improving flexibility and range of motion, cardiovascular endurance, fatigue level, muscle strength, mobility function (including gait and balance), quality of life, and psychological well-being.”
