Bonita Springs, FL — April 17, 2025 — The Bonita Springs Film Festival celebrated cinematic excellence this weekend, awarding Peter DeFresco, client and talented filmmaker of the Centers for Multiple Sclerosis, two of its highest honors for short film A Ninth at The Museum: Best Overall Film and the coveted People’s Choice Award.
Directed by Stephan Schonberg and Ernesto Lassa de la Vega, A Ninth at The Museum captivated both audiences and judges alike with its compelling storytelling and masterful execution. Produced by Alexis Bacca, the film features an original screenplay written by DeFresco himself, further showcasing his range and talent as a filmmaker.
