Collier Community Foundation

Naples, FL. (December 1,2023) Supported by a $30,000 grant from the Collier Community Foundation, the Multiple Sclerosis Center of Southwest Florida was able to open a new MS Community Center at North Naples. This is the MS Center’s second location in Naples. It is located on the property of the Naples Therapeutic Riding Center, another non-profit.

The first site, the MS Community Center at South Naples, was opened in August 2023 at Unity Church of Naples with support from the All Life Foundation.

Each MS Community Center (MS CC) offers a full day of services for people with MS every week.  Services include a specialized exercise or yoga class, a support group meeting, a lunch, and an art class.  Having the MS Community Centers in locations closer to where clients live, provides better accessibility, consistency, and an opportunity to connect with others. The MS CC at North Naples operates on Fridays from 10am to 2pm and the MS CC at South Naples operates on Wednesdays from 10am to 2pm.

For over 20 years the Multiple Sclerosis Center of Southwest Florida has served the local community, offering disability assistance, specialized exercise classes, art therapy, mental health support, and case management to those with MS at no cost. It now has six locations serving people with MS across Southwest Florida from Cape Coral to Naples. Visit www.centers4ms.org to learn more.

Naples MS Community Center is supported by a grant from the Collier Community Foundation.
