Multiple sclerosis is a chronic debilitating disease that attacks the central nervous system. Symptoms of MS range from severe fatigue, to loss of vision, severe weakness or paralysis of the limbs. There is no cure.

  • MS affects about 2500 people living in Southwest Florida.
  • Most people with MS are diagnosed between age 20 and 40.
  • As the disease progresses, many lose the ability to walk, or perform normal daily activities without assistance.

The Multiple Sclerosis Center of Southwest Florida (MS Center) offers a comprehensive wellness program consisting of therapies proven to help people manage the symptoms that affect their everyday lives. The MS Center’s focus is on wellness, not illness. Most of our clients see significant improvement in mobility, balance, and an overall feeling of well-being after participating in our program for just a few weeks.

The MS Center is local and is not a chapter of a national organization. We are supported entirely by individual donations, grants, and fundraising events. Please contact us to learn how you can help.
