MS Aqua Exercise

September 23 @ 11:30 am - 12:15 pm EDT

Water aerobics is an excellent way for people living with multiple sclerosis (MS) to stay active while reducing stress on the body. The buoyancy of the water supports movement, making it easier to improve strength, balance, flexibility, and endurance with less strain on joints and muscles.

Because many people with MS are sensitive to heat, exercising in a cool pool can help keep symptoms from worsening during activity. Water exercise also provides a safe, supportive environment that can boost confidence, improve mood, and encourage social connection.

The Aqua Aerobics Program welcomes participants of all ability levels, with exercises that can be adapted to meet individual needs. Join Chrissy, the new class director, and discover the many benefits of staying active in the water.
